Baking soda is a versatile cleaner when it comes to getting rid of stains, melting away gunk, and removing odors. Here five ways you can use baking soda to clean your kitchen!

Use it to clean your electric stovetop

You will need: dish soap, baking soda, and hydrogen peroxide.

Individually apply each ingredient on the dirty surface according to the order it was listed and scrub away at the stains. Let the solution sit for a few minutes before wiping it all away with a microfiber cloth.

Remove encrusted food from the inside of your oven

You will need: ½ cup of water, ¼ to ½ cup of baking soda, and a tablespoon of dish soap

Mix together the three ingredients to create a paste. Use an old sponge to apply it on your oven and let it sit for 30 minutes. All the gunk should then come off with the mixture as soon as you wipe it away and rinse with warm water.

Deep clean your enamel pans

You will need: ½ inch of hydrogen and ¼ cup of baking soda

Put the ingredients in the pan and let it boil until it becomes all foamy, then take it off the heat and let it sit for 10 minutes. Afterward, toss the mixture out of the pan and thoroughly scrub the pan with a heavy-duty sponge.

Let your stainless sink sparkle again

You will need: baking soda

This one is easy! Sprinkle baking soda all over your sink and scrub it using a sponge or a toothbrush. Rinse it all off afterwards and marvel at your now clean and shiny sink.
