The size of the fan you should get depends entirely on the size of the room you’ll use it for. For example, a pedestal fan might be great for spacious rooms as it can help circulate air in large areas, but are quite ineffective in smaller rooms as they take up too much space.

If you intend to move your fan around a lot, it’s much better to purchase a fan that’s easy to move around. This automatically eliminates fans that are bigger and bulkier as they are much harder to transfer compared to smaller fans.

7. How easy is the fan to clean?

A clean fan lasts longer, circulates cleaner air, and easier to maintain. Some fans require a lot of disassembling before cleaning, other fans only need a simple wipe. Better think about how willing you are to clean your fan!
