Philippine Hotels and Resorts Exhibit Excellence

Looks like it's time to book a reservation, Philippine world excellence was shown once again! Two hotels in the Philippines made it into the 2019 Readers Choice Awards of Conde Nast Traveler.

Among the 50 best hotels in the world, Edsa Shangri-La Manila and Conrad Manila ranked as the 46th and 45th spot respectively.

The list can be found on the Conde Nast Traveler website and hotels such as the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, the Royal Mansour in Marrakech, Morocco, the Archipelagos Hotel in Mykonos, Greece, and so much more join the esteemed list.

According to John Rice, the area vice-president of operations for the Shangri-La Group in the Philippines, they are “deeply grateful and truly delighted to be named among the best of the best by our valued guests and readers of Conde Nast Traveler.”

“Our colleagues and properties in the Philippines have been, and continue to be, a source of great pride for us.” he also added.

In Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 20 list of best hotels in Asia, Conrad Manila and Edsa Shangri-La Manila were ranked as third and fourth place, respectively. 

Other Philippine hotels that made it into Conde Nast Traveler’s Top 20 list of best resorts in Asia include Shangri-La at the Fort (14th) and Discovery Suites Manila (18th).

Two resorts were also voted among the best in Asia, this includes Shangri-La’s Mactan Resort and Spa made it to the 11th spot, while El Nido Resorts – Pangulasian Island in Palawan ranked 16th. 

The Conde Nast Traveler’s latest survey for its Readers’ Choice Awards had 600,000 voters.
